6) Examine the soundness of the concrete mortar on tile roofs.

7) Check for debris buildup in roof valleys, crickets, roof drains, and rain gutters.

8) Check for dry rot and termite damage in exposed roof sheathing, exposed starter boards, and fascia boards.
